Hey, moderator people, can you guys institute some new rules about avatars so I don't freak out every time I see John Bergsing posting? I know that Bob V can't help being as pretty as he is, but surely someone can stop John from looking like freakazoid negative-polarity man.

And please don't anyone start with this being an example of Christian Liberty in motion. :p
 
I tried to stop John but he hit me with a stun burst from his negative-polarity proton cannon. This will be a job for a sooper-mawduratur. I'm off for a manicure.... broke a nail.

Why can't you be more like Bob Vigneault?
 
It would take years of primping to be that way. For Bob is good enough, smart enough, and dog gonnit, people like him.

Man, this is my day. First I'm told I look like John Lennon, and now I'm a mental scuba diver searching for lost treasure, sort of like the Jaques Cousteau of the intelligentia. Wait a minute, now I'm getting carried away with myself. I think I know how you feel, Bob.

Hey, I'm reading this, ya know?!?!? I was just trying to be a little artsy, sorry that I'm not great at it! LOL! Kelly says I look like Darth Maul and wants me to change it. I guess it wasn't the big hit I hoped it to be. OK, let me see what I can find.

Oh my I can't believe I said that. I am not worthy to unlash the sneakers of this dear saint of the Lord and I said something so insulting. Bob, please forgive me, I'm sure it's just stress and my lack of sensitivity. You are the best and brightest moderator on this forum and I am so sorry for this shortcoming.

John, thanks for the change of avatar. Now I can once again call you a brother in Christ. I had no idea what to call you when Darth Maul was staring up at me... :lol:

PS - John, I wouldn't take that 'Lennon' comment sitting down. As I recall, Lennon only got the beard after he hooked up with Yoko Ono and became a pot-smoking peacenik. In that context, no-one deserves to be called Lennon; it's just mean. I think I'd rather be called Lenin (and without the hair, you would bear a striking resemblance....)

Don't forget that I got an older queen-turned-senator to fall in love with me, killed an entire village of sand-people with a single bound, mastered the force at 18 (forget about that little time I got my arms and legs cut off) and took acting lessons shortly thereafter.

On reflection, it reminds me that I'm totally depraved. I guess it keeps me from thinking too highly of myself. That way, in my striking I don't look so much like Lenin either.
 
I have one question..... Is that really Bob in his Avatar? I thought it was B. J. Thomas in his younger years.... LOL

Brethren - I am in So Cal. all week and I'm currently back in my hotel room taking a break from Disneyland. While there I noticed that Calvibaptist was making the rounds. I'm sure he will want this pic used for his next avatar.
