I have to read Van Til before I read this one. Got any recommedations? "Defense of the Christian Faith" would probably be a good place to start, no?

Most would recommend Bahnsen's book on Van Til's apologetic before reading Van Til writings themselves.

However the newly edited annotated version of "Defense of the Faith" probably is not too bad a place to start as previous versions were.

Yeah, I recommend Van Til's Apologetic by Bahnsen. But if "Defense of the Faith" is annotated, it might be good. Reading Van Til directly is just so difficult.

Yeah, I recommend Van Til's Apologetic by Bahnsen.

It said "Presuppositional Apologetics: Stated & Defended" was formerly titled "Van Tils Presuppositional Apologetics". That is different than "Van Til's Apologetic - Readings & Analysis", correct? This I have on my "to read" shelf.

So true! I have 2 Van Til books I'm trying to work my way up to. I've gone through a boat load of Bahnsen in preperation. :scholar:

I am currently reading Van Til's Intro to Systematic Theology (which I have found immensely helpful), next up is Christian Apologetics and then A Defense of the Faith
