Puritan Board Post-Graduate
This is the annual list published by Lake Superior State University.

Thought I'd throw this out to provide an alternative for those who'd like a break from the usual Christ-mass wars.

I going to make it a point to keep those words alive. My challenge for work tomorrow is to use each word on the list at least twice.:)

This is an EMOTIONAL post.

A WEBINAR on ORGANIC WATERBOARDING in a PERFECT STORM should be AUTHORED by some RANDOM WORDSMITH during the SURGE of our POST 9/11 culture.

BACK IN THE DAY when BLACK FRIDAY was SWEET throwing some one UNDER THE BUS was not a sign that IT IS WHAT IT IS. DECIMATE IS THE NEW annihilate, and if we use all these banned words while WORDSMITTHING one post we will really cause the Puritan Board to POP! It would be quite the GIVE BACK!

My kids were using the word random to say something was weird. I was hot and heavy on that one. I hate it when kids change the definitions of words. It is simply weird and wrong. Plus, I can't understand anything they are saying and I have to ask too many questions to understand what they are saying.

Similarly, the word 'confusing' is the new 'challenging'. When my students are faced with some simple yet challenging task, they say, "That's confusing!" It drives me crazy.

I'd like to add "tight" to the list, simply because I don't get it.

As in, "Dude, check out that car. It's tight."

Then again, I don't get half the things my students say in class...I simply must be too old.
