Dead Sea Scrolls Tour

When my mom and I were in San Diego for vacation last week. We saw the Dead Sea Scrolls. My mom was so interested she wants to see it again. I thought it was amazing. It was very important to us and the history of our Beliefs. To have some of the oldest known copies of the Old Testament on hand. One of the things that really touched me was some of the qoutes from the book called 'The Community Rule'. It struck me as puritanesque(if thats the right word) in how they truly meant to combine the belief in God and fused it to community life, instead of just a sunday religion we see in america(which I sadly fall into that catagory).

Has anyone been able to see this. If you get the oppurtunity take it. Its well worth it. It cost 24 dollars.

I saw the Scrolls when they were in Seattle in December. I actually went twice. I love history, so it was a really neat experience!
