Dr. Caner has made a public statement concerning the question as to whether he was actually a muslim, his "debates", and other issues. STATEMENT RELEASED ON 25 FEBRUARY 2010:

I personally think this situation is getting old.
Dr.Caner admitts to not having debated Shabir Ally (who he claimed twice to have debated). Overall, some of his comments and dishonesty do NOT help in evangelizing to those in Islam. Comments such as I was never a " sand monkey" and "no I never drove a taxi cab with my chest hair sticking out" are not appreciated by those of us who witness to muslims.
