Facebook Ads

Hey, I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of Facebooks ads at the right side of the screen. Specifically, I do not want to see that skubalon about single girls or single Christian girls and all that. It is really ticking me off.

Hehe sorry. Nevermind, I figured it out. I am such a goof; I have Firefox with Adblock Plus so all I need to do is right-click, "Adblock," and the pictures go buh-bye. Good. Praise God.

I felt like using English but I held my tongue. They intentionally use pictures of pretty girls to tempt folks like me, so I absolutely hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it. My eyes have reservations, thanks. (I just wish the lady who has them reserved would show up already! )

Even better than adblock is Foof.

Does foof update its filterset like Adblock Plus?

Can you turn it off for individual pages/sites?

I find those things to be really important. Are there any other benefits to foof besides the replacement content?

I've skimmed the foof page, but it is not exactly easy to find out answers to these questions.

There's a ads rating feature within all facebook ads. Just report those skubalon ads as offensive and sooner or later all you'll be getting are hearing aids for the elderly etc. No skubalon there.

BTW if you have problems installing pith helmet drop me a line, you may have to change a version number, but it is easy enough to do.

I suggest Internet Filter - Matt 5:30 | I'll Be Honest it takes out all adds from Facebook so you dont have to click on each one and remove it

AdBlockPlus does this automatically as well.
