I just saw this from the Alliance of Confessiong Evangelicals about D.A. Carson:

Has anyone heard of this Jonathan Edwards Centre? It certainly sounds interesting.

Sorry, Wayne. I can't recall anything about it, though it does seem to ring a distant bell.

Can anything good come out of Toronto? Wait a minute, Yes indeed there can. Ravi Zacharias started his work in TO ( that's what we call our "big apple"; pronounced Tee Oh. ) We have yearly conferences there by Sproul's mininstry. And, most importantly, we have our own Tom Skerrit from TO too.

I think that there are other Toronto residents in our midst too. Maybe they can shed some light on this. I can't.

The certre is a part of Toronto Baptist Seminary, a Reformed school that I wish I had gone to. I will be attending these meetings.

I have only heard him a couple of times. He sounds more on the evangelical side, but does he lean reformed?

Ravi Zacharias is an arminian. Interesting speaker, but very arminian.

Beware of Ravi

Ravi is a big fan of Malcolm Muggeridge.Mr.M.was not an evangelical though Billy Graham and others promoted that idea.In the last stage of his life he became a Roman Catholic,
though he had leanings in that direction for some time.I'll
never forget his comments about "Those bones.Those precious bones!"He was claiming that about Jesus' bones.
He did not believe that Christ was raised from the dead.If that man is a hero of Ravi's with no disclaimer,that is not good.
