Greenland Block

FYI, it looks like it will last through Christmas. It's amazing that one large piece of land can affect so much of the weather!

[VictorBravo]

Bah, the reason you guys in the East and Europe is having such bad weather is because it hit here first, but that was a few weeks ago. We didn't like it and pushed it along as hard as we could.

[Southern Presbyterian]

Greenland is only the immediate cause.

For I know that the LORD is great,
and that our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleases, he does,
in heaven and on earth,
in the seas and all deeps.
He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth,
who makes lightnings for the rain
and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

--Psalm 135:5-7

Yes, the weather here hasn't been very good. It was almost 80 today, and a bit muggy. My wife and I just had a discussion as to whether we needed to run the air conditioner tonight.
