I have decided

Weston Stoler

Puritan Board Sophomore
To become a Presbyterian. After much deliberation and thought I have decided to submit the the Westminster confession of faith. This is just an announcement. I do not want to start an argument about doctrines I just wanted to make this announcement. I have been see-sawing for some time now and I have finally made what I think is the most biblical position.

It's always a great thing to become more sure and convinced of one's position rather than vacillating to and fro. May the Lord bless your endeavors that flow forth from a renewed assurance!

Great!
While it is not infallible like Scripture,
It is the best summary of the doctrine of Scripture man has ever produced.

Blessings to you particularly as you seek, by God's grace to understand, keep and delight in the Christian sabbath, the Lord's Day!

Ever since becoming a Presbyterian, I've been greatly blessed by the WCF and the clarity it brings to understanding our Christian faith. May the Lord bless you and your church!

Though I am not a Presbyterian, I was in the "brethren" movement with the Gospel Halls. I have since moved on to being with Baptists that also follow the WCF. I have to say, not to paint the previous church black, but I saw many things that didn't agree with scripture, more and more, and I was more and more convicted of the reformed perspective of theology. And to be completely honest, I feel much more at "ease" with the scriptures.

I also see biblically, it's the best decision I have made.

Praise God

I did the same thing a while back but ended up returning. I am not trying to convince you to "come back" but don't make a huge deal of it right away. It would be awfully embarrassing to make a huge deal and end up admitting that you switched back.
