This page contains a short "code of ethics" that I found several years ago. I printed it out and used to keep it beside my computer monitor. I must admit that when I moved to my current home, I never brought it back out. Reading your post reminded me of it, thank you. I realize that an improper allocation of our time is dishonoring to God, and the internet is full of inherent danger already. I am very thankful to have this discussion board to help combat some of these dangers. Thank you again for this searching question.

One can fall easilly into internet abuse. The way I avoid it is by alloting myself only a certain amount of time when I'm at home to use the web. My wife holds me to it. Our children are usually alloted a certain amount of time as well.
