Ok, how cold is it where you live? Here is Wisconsin it's -13 degrees below zero and -40 below with wind chill! Come Zenas bring your sandals and t-shirt...we're just getting started! ;)

It was 10 degrees here this morning. I actually wore shoes today, but still a short sleeve polo shirt.

See what happens when you only wear short sleeves...you're avatar turns into an icicle! Yikes! Go get unthawed!

Right now its 8 below zero with 26 below windchill, Last night we had 50 below windchill and about 30 something below zero temps.

BUT, the coldest I've experienced here was back in the late 90s. The temperature was 65 below zero with 103 below windchill...now THAT was cold!
I shiver just thinking about it...

I just got an email from a friend in Fairbanks who said they were having chinook winds and a high of 40 degrees. That broke a near-record cold snap of 87 days that brought -62 degree lows a few days ago. maybe the heat wave will make it down to us lower 48ers. This 22 degree high stuff is for the birds.

Oh, the wonderful use of celsius! My sister lives in Canada and we are forever trying to figure out what her temp "really" is!

There are only two things you need to remember:

Anything below zero is freezing.
Water boils at 100 degrees.

It's simple and logical. Where is the common sense in Fahrenheit?

It is much easier to remember what temperature paper burns using Fahrenheit, that being 451.
