James Montgomery Boice's commentaries? Are they still available in hardback? I only see them in paperback.

I'm not finding any Ryan. I found a hardcover of Ephesians on Amazon and someone was selling it for 1800 dollars. Don't know if that was a typo or not but I'm getting the idea that hardcovers will be a difficult treasure hunt.

These search results may be helpful (click on the pictures to get the actual available prices). It seems that the price range runs the gamut on various editions from as little as $5.00 for his exposition on Romans 12-16 (Ebay) or $7.29 for Romans 1-4 (Amazon) to $2194.51 for his exposition on Genesis (Amazon).

I just find it odd... they would take it out of print. I know CBD has all the paperbacks. It just seems like commentaries should be hardback.

The best place to find them are at Lifeway bookstores. If there are particular commentaries you're looking for, I can check the one by my house and get back to you with the price.

I have seen some volumes of Boice in hardcover, on sale at Lifeway. It was Genesis and/or Psalms, If I recall correctly. They also had several volumes of the Hendricksen/Kistemaker NT commentary series on sale.

Boice's three volumes on the Psalms are superb, in my opinion. And I wouldn't be without his volumes on Romans, either.
