Obviously commentaries on John will deal with this passage, even if some are more summary than you would like.
I think George Hutcheson on John is probably the most theologically sure-footed and astute of what is available. But F.D. Bruner's large commentary is not hard to read, discusses multiple dimensions of the text, and draws on a wide array of resources, so it's a good place to start and find additional recommendations in the footnotes or bibliography.
