Let Christ Live His Life Through You?

I have heard this above statement in a few non reformed churches that I know of. Would you say that this is a biblical statement? I hope I'm not being hyper critical but that statement just doesn't seem right. I know they are basing it off of Galatians 2:20 but it seems like stretch.

Any thoughts?

Mystical sentimentalism, like "Let go and let God." It does not convey anything meaningful and leaves it up to the individual to make of it what he will. If one explained it in terms of Gal. 2:20, he would have said something significant which could be intelligibly examined as to its truth or falsehood. Even then, the word "Let" expresses an idea which contradicts the apostle's statement as to the life which "he" lived.
