I was wondering how many of my fellow MacHeads have made the switch to Lion. Would any of you be willing to list out the pros and cons. Is it worth it or should I hold off a little while longer? Thanks.

It's been stable so far; autosave addition nice; Mail & Safari mods seem to parallel many of the non-Mac goods out there and are welcome additions; "mission control" as a broadly parallel replacement for spaces works well; "launch pad" universal app/program launcher also nice but not really a big step (for me) from an applications window or a spotlight search window. Swipe movements work well, though the "native" scrolling mouse motion reversal is taking me some time to get used to. Keystroke shortcuts seem to all be working, but I've not been methodical about it. I think it'll probably interface well with the cloud, and the modifications of the app store that are coming. Like snow leopard, I suspect Lion will be a required upgrade for future IOS and OS roll outs, though apparently IOS will eventually replace desktop/laptop OS...So far, so good!!

Yup. My wife did; I'm sticking with the new "natural" movement just (probably) to prove to myself that I can do it, and assuage my pride!!!

I usually wait for the .1 update to get the major bugs out. My wife's first generation MacBook won't upgrade, so I expect to partition mine for a Snow Leopard - Lion dual boot.

I'll be waiting for a little while - SL does the job just fine, and I worry about compatibility with already finicky software (Logos4) that I rely on. Oh, and I want to make sure that all the bugs are wrung out of Office 2011 before I upgrade as well. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to a lot of the little productivity enhancers in Lion (and the low upgrade price makes it all the more tempting!)

I have to wait because of a few driver issues. I'm trying to get another battery for my laptop so I can run Lion on it to test drive it. I am looking forward to hearing from more of you.
