I googled hasidic Jew. I love the hasidim; for all their vain works, I admit I am moved by their love for (g)od. I once saw three hasidic youths in the airport get up from their chairs and depart to a corner and start their praying and nodding; it struck me peculiar as it dawned on me that they were men coming of age and had no fear of being judged by girls their age or peers. I thought, I wish I had that level of devotion.

I have recently gone to a few synagogue services (reform services, not orthodox)...and I am fascinated. They are devoted, but it is sad to see those that love the Torah, but miss its purpose completely. THey qoute from the Sh'ma, and all the other verses that we, as Christians, love and cherish.
