Looking for a good SS package

I am looking for a good SS package for adults. I want it to contain the doctrines of grace, but not be a confessional catechism. This is for use in a class where I would also need to keep the reading level to a High School or less level due to the participants. Has anyone used (as a teacher) or been through (as a student) something of this sort? If so please post the title & publisher or author(s).

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm about to order an evaluation set of "Adult Biblical Education Series: A Six-Year Study" from the PCA here

I called them recently about this series and it sounds like it might fit your needs also.

We did Sproul's videos and those were really good. He is a good teacher and explains well so high schoolers would understand him!

At our old church we watched the tapes and answered questions from Sproul'sDust to Glory.
I was very new to the Reformed Faith (but didn't know it) and it was very helpful.

Rich, the ARP's Adult Quarterly might be something you'd want to look at. It comes highly recommended (Derick Thomas, e.g.), and they will even send you free samples. You can click here for more info.

As a matter of fact, we have old copies at the church; PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of copies.

Not to hijack Rich's thread, but I'm the Adult SS Director at our church and I've been looking for some good quarterly type materials. I don't like our denomination's stuff so much (too much fluff, not enough meat).

I'm going to take a look at the ARP material along with the PCA's that I mentioned earlier.

I second Pastor Phillips's recommendation. The ARP Adult Quarterly is excellent. We recently switched to it, and the growth and discussion in the class has been a blessing to our church.

Has anyone used a SS curriculum you wouldn't recommend ? Why?

I already got SBC (according to the drift) quarterly as too much fluff.
