Guys have you ever used this work of MH? Is his concise commentary decent? I tried googling it up but couldn't find who actually compiled it(looks like MH died before he finished the whole Bible commentary- leaving the epistles and Revelation behind)

It's edited by someone. Whoever edited it, whatever his theological views, whatever he thought could be ditched to shorten what MH wrote.

It's possible that there could be more than one condensed version, given how popular MH has been over the centuries, and the fact that his commentary is quite long. The one at the PCA bookstore is edited by Leslie F. Church: https://www.pcabookstore.com/p-502-matthew-henry-s-commentary-in-one-volume-KJV.aspx.

Leslie Church was a prominent British Methodist from the middle of the Twentieth Century, and was at one point President of the Methodist Society.

Side note: It has been observed that John Wesley's "Notes" are essentially a poor abridgment of Poole and Henry...
