Deeply convicting, and yet heartening to see his faithfulness to Scripture and the gospel.
Sobering to realize that what he's experiencing now is likely not far off for us in the U.S.
Challenging, that we may also take up our cross and follow Jesus into reproach, hatred, and whatever else may come.

May Christ strengthen this brother, and us as well.
