Moroccan Mint & Stevia

As a tea connoisseur I tend to experiment with different teas, blends and brands, etc. Tonight I'm trying a new blend of Moroccan Mint Green tea that contains green tea, spearmint (yum), peppermint and "sweet-tasting stevia."

The tea tastes great but I've never had stevia before and have read that it was banned at one point.

Anyone know anything about stevia?

Or we could just turn this thread into a tea appreciation thread, whatever works...

We used stevia as a sweetener, since it is naturally derived from a plant.

Stevia's a good sweetener.

Have your ever tried a tea from the Blue Balsam Mint? It's very good.

Never tried the Blue Balsam but will look for it. I drink a lot of Rooibos, ever try it?
