How could they do this to me? My favorite Boston station, which plays mostly 60's and 70's rock, has been nominated as Boston's Christmas station and will only be playing Christmas music from now until Christmas. I don't mind a few songs here and there maybe a week or so before Christmas, but all Christmas songs from now 'till the holiday? Bah humbug!

That kind of reminds me of how the only classical station in Memphis of which I know is also the station with NPR, so there is no good classical music throughout large chunks of the day!

Christmas always make me remember those precious moments of childhood.
why did I have to grow up???? Why? I can smell the ham being baked, the cake, the decorating of the Christmas tree, and all the presents, and least of all, no worries about how they will be paid for :D:

I know what you mean. I have fond memories of Christmas as a child and still enjoy Christmas (through the eyes of my boys) ... around Christmas time, though, not before we've even celebrated Thanksgiving.

Bob, that stinks! But what stinks even more is that I've managed to live two summers in Boston without knowing that it has a classic rock station!! The closest thing I've been able to find is The River!

What station is it? (For next summer's sake)

OK, now I'm ready for Christmas music. While waiting for my wife to come out of the store, I put on 103.3 to listen to some good old fashioned Christmas carols. I heard a couple standard carols, then some lady called in a request - "All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotamus". If that doesn't put a person into the 'Christmas spirit', I don't know what will.

We have the same kind of station in Milwaukee, 99.1.

It's been banned from my car radio.

And rightly so, at least until Christmas time.
