Overseas Jobs Question?

Does anyone know of any private contractors to U.S. government overseas that offer the high-paying civilian contract jobs (preferably IT-related?)

I would add the caveat that the employer be willing to employ civilians and those with no prior military/police background I've found this to be a hurdle in finding a job... I would like to find some leads... I know a guy over in Middle East making $120k probably as a security guard. If I could get a handsome paying job-- just one-third to one-half of that overseas I could wipe the slate clean of most of my debts and start anew and get more graduate/professional studies.

Don't know man, but you will have to go to Iraq. Iraq is the only place that offering such good salaries, and the reason is obvious, people hardly want them.

But it depends upon you, if you think you can survive 3 years there, and save every cent, it will be worth it.

Why not try starting a business. Ebayers seem to be making a lot of money by simply selling the products that are hot.

The third link shows Halliburton jobs by country. I would try for Djibouti, Brunei, or Dubai. I know someone who worked for Schlumberger and they said that it was a good company. I think that you should be able to make a bundle working with oilfield services. I checked three years ago and one could make upwards of 60K a year just turning wrenches in Nigeria. The Halliburton site has a place for unsolicited resumes send yours in and see what happens.
