Powerpoint design

Can anyone recommend a book on powerpoint? Setting up a presentation (typing and inserting files on the slides) seems rather intuitive and straight forward. What I'm looking for is more guidance on how to make a presentation appealing and memorable. The material for which I'd like to make some powerpoint files is a self-teaching course that I'm developing for missionaries on how to make medical decisions for themselves when they are in remote areas, far from medical care. Even seeing some presentations would be helpful. It doesn't matter what the subject is (within limits), but it would be helpful to see something that is well-designed. I've never seen any powerpoint on the internet. If there are appropriate sites, I'd appreciate the addresses.
