Ever since I found out that my PB username, which used to be Chippy, has some negative connotations, I have been desiring to have it changed but I didn't know how. I found a thread yesterday with information how to get it changed. Thanks to PuritanCovenanter (the Viking moderator) my username is now Oecolampadius.

This is his Christmas gift to me. It's just too bad that I have decided not to participate in the gift-giving tradition of Christmas anymore or else I would have sent him one.

Johannes Oecolampadius [1482-1531] was a German reformer who led the Reformation in Basle.

Not many people know this, but so many people back then had trouble pronouncing "Oecolampadius" that he took up the nickname, "Chippy".
