Reading Projects for 2010

Things I want to read this year:

The Banner of Truth Trust edition of Spurgeon's Lectures to My Students

Matthew Henry's Commentary - yes, the whole thing (probably take me more than one year!)

Winston Churchill's six-volume history The Second World War

I'm probably biting off way more than I can chew here...!

Looks like a lot. How are you planning on reading the Matthew Henry? Whats your plan...are you going to go straight from Gen.-Rev.?

I would also be interested in how you plan to read Henry. A friend/mentor gave me the six-volume set recently. As of now, my plan is to read them through from Genesis to Revelation.

My plan for 2010:

-Read through the Bible 3-4 times with written chapter summaries

-Read through 1/3 or 1/4 of Henry's Commentary

-How to Read a Book

-Pleasures of God

. . . lots of others too, but this is where I start. The Word is my foundation in this.

Yeah, pretty much straight through from Genesis to Revelation. Seems like the best way to keep track of where you are.
