Reformation Heritage KJV Exodus Map

I am confused as to why the exodus map in the back does not show any crossing of the Red Sea. Does anyone know why the liberal stance was taken for a conservative Bible? It's not a deal breaker for me, just discouraging.

The quickest route to the answer you're seeking would probably be to contact RHB directly. I have contacted them a few times now regarding their study Bible and have found them to be very responsive.

Most maps I have encountered do not. Rather it is where the Suez is since it used to be more marshy, have more lakes, and the Gulf of Suez and the Mediterranean used to go deeper into that area than they do today.
It is just assumed they would cross there since Goshen wasn't too far away, again assuming that Sinai is the traditional spot.

In all probability yes. But, it depends upon a host of assumptions. Namely, it was a marshy sea and that Sinai is the traditional spot than say a route further north or in the Sinai itself leading to Arabia.

RHB aren't the only ones who use that map: it even appears in some TBS Bibles! It's unfortunate, but as you say shouldn't be seen as a deal breaker.
