So, Rome is infallible?

So this is a short post arguing for the infallibility of Rome. What say ye? Alexander Pruss's Blog: The Catholic Church: infallible, liar or lunatic

Actually, he's onto something here which Romanists have noted in the past:

Cardinal Manning said: "The Catholic Church is either the masterpiece of Satan or the kingdom of the Son of God" ("Lectures on the Four-fold Sovereignty of God," London, 1871, page 171)... Cardinal Newman declared: "Either the Church of Rome is the house of God or the house of Satan; there is no middle ground between them" (Essays 11, page 116).

The Pope is either the Vicar of Christ as he claims or he is that Antichrist, that man of sin and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the Church against Christ, and all that is called God. I firmly believe that he is the latter.
