A lady in my church is having occasional eye troubles. She would like to have an app where she can read or listen to the Bible, just depending on what her situation for that day calls for. Any recommendations?

Any other suggestions? The ideal would be if an app can keep her place whether she made progress by reading or by listening.

Some Kindles have text to speech. I had an old dx that did quite well. Kindles hold your place. I think the Fire does it, I don't know about others.

While I don't have it, I think the general Bible app, might be of some help. Its typically the first one that comes up.

Follow up: I just check the kindle app on my computer. It has text to speech built in under "Tools." Not bad read back. It is no cost.

Last I remember, the ESV was available on Kindle for no charge, too.
