The Anti-Sword

The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is a very odd kind of sword. One could even call it an anti-sword. An unknown pastor from North Carolina said it this way:

The Sword of the Spirit is the only sword which, when you drive it into a dead man, will make him into a living man.​

I've heard the saying that like a real sword, its efficacy doesn't depend on if people believe it's a real sword or not.

It's the only offensive part of the full-armor of God we've been given.
