USA Eclipse - 2017

I have been looking forward to this for a few years now. I don't live within the path of totality, but close enough to make it a very easy trip. Should be a good show if it isn't cloudy.


August 21, 2017 is the date, I should mention.

post-Lord's day bump: is no one looking forward to the Total Solar Eclipse?

Looks like we'll have just under 3/4 obscuration at max. where we live.

We will have 86% here in northern Illinois. The edge of the total eclipse is literally going over my parents house in northeast Georgia, though! (Yes I am excited. I have put the start and end time for my area in my Google Calendar.)
