Want to recommend

[Swampguy]

I am currently reading Ministries in Mercy and highly recommend it to any one in ministry or wanting to enter the ministry. The Preface conficted me and the Intro shoved in the nails. I haven't even started the main text but Tim Keller's book is a must read.

I am reading through this book right now. It is a very good book.

An accompanying book that I am reading with Keller's book is the following:

Evangelism, Doing Justice and Preaching Grace: by Harvie M. Conn

Ben Aalbers writes a good series of articles on the Third millennium website on the ministry of mercy.

Weighty Matters: An Essay Concerning the Tendency of Conservative Presbyterians, And the American Church At-Large, to Neglect Ministries of Justice and Mercy

Articles from Monergism Site:
Social Justice, Mercy Ministry
