Ivan is now at 165mph If you are in the us and in the projected path of this storm I would leave as soon as possible. This storm will regain any lost strength after hitting cuba. It will be a very bad storm probably the worst in recorded history.
My estimation once it strengthens in the gulf is 165-175 mph sustained winds with gusts up to and exceeding 200mph.
This is very serious I would make plans if you havnt all ready.

Update 9-12-2004: Allthough a moajority of Florida seem's to have been given a little grace. Those others who are in the direct path of this storm need to take heed to the above because if the storm reintensifies in the gulf and its headed your way you need to make evacuation plans immediatelly. Stay safe.
