Wide margin KJV

Hello all, I am new to the Puritan Board,
I am thinking about getting a wide margin KJV for writing in to hopefully pass down to my daughter devotional thoughts and study notes. So far I have narrowed down to the cambridge wide margin reference and the the Allen Clarendon wide margin refernce. Other than chapter summaries they look pretty close to the same but the cambridge advertises a little larger margin (1.25" vs 1" in the Allen) which would be helpful for taking notes etc. I would love input from anyone who may have both and could offer insight on which one is better for writing in or if they are very close to the same and it is just preference of quality. Also is one more readable than the other?

I can't say enough good about Local Church and their amazing bibles. I own several of them and they are simply the best bibles I have ever owned. Their wide margin KJV is very supple and made from top grade goat and calf skin. And BTW, all hand made.

they would both be good choices, since you plan on passing your Bible on to your daughter you would probably have to go with a goatskin as this will be long lasting, here are some Bible review links that may interest you;

Your welcome Mike, I actually got the link for Bible Design Blog from another thread here on PB, and spent a great deal of
time on these sites the few months while I was in the sinners chair here. I would like to own a goatskin KJB though I baulk at paying these prices, If the Lord blesses me financially then I'll reconsider.

Do you know which wide margin you have?

I dont have a wide margin as I have no need for one, I don't like the idea of writing in a Bible, let alone one I've paid
$200+ for, it feels a bit sacrilegious personally. most of my personal bible reading is done on the iphone these days,
the pure cambridge edition (cum privilegio) King James Bible on the PocketSword App.
