Work Boot Suggestion

It depends on why and where you will be wearing them. A block mason has a different set of concerns than the steel erector walking steel. 8"? 10"? Insulated?

This company has a range of designs.

Danner. I have a pair from 2007 that are STILL functional after trekking the desert, gardening, home remodeling and daily wear at work.

I am in the market for a pair of lace-up work boots with the following traits:

* Price < $250
* Steel-toe
* water-resistant
* leather
* color-medium brown but other colors not a deal breaker
* prefer good-year welt

Thank You!

Edit:

This is something that I've came across. Looks like a good price. Thoughts?

Keen. I have a few co-workers that wear the Braddock or Dovers and they love them. I am on my second pair of Logandale and not because my first wore worn out, but because my plant buys me a new pair of boots each year. The Logandale are not brown but they are light weight, durable, waterproof, and under your budget. The other two are brown and have all the same features. I don't see myself buying any other boot any time soon.

Light construction, landscaping and occasionally heavy equipment. I’m clumsy.

I have my own preferences, and given what you say here, I would choose what they call the Surveyor steel toe. I live in the south. I would not be choosing insulated footwear.

The point of what I shared was the range of styles and designs.

How much do Red Wings cost there? Best boots I’ve ever owned. Extremely comfortable.
