PBer's,

A friend of mine is building a very useful and powerful Puritan and Reformed website out of the UK. It is in it's infancy, but i promise you it will blow away almost everything else on the net for specific authors. Think Thomas Manton, and such. You can visit the link here. Return often, he will be updating it all the time.

Thanks

I may have to give up plans on more Durham works if that site is going to be doing him. I note they draw from the lectures on Job another site has up (which why someone would do that work over again when it is available in print cheap is a bit perplexing; been in print for 20 years).

Always nice to have more sources and venues for Puritan & Reformed works!

The site appears to load quickly, but my older eyes always detest that white type on black background format.
On that basis alone I would tend not to use the site. That said, you could always copy over to a text editor and read from there or print out, to overcome that problem.

Citation of, or reference back to the pages of the original print source would be nice to have, as well. I don't see where that is included at this time.

It seems to provide uncorrected text, in much the same state as one downloads from archive.org.

I object! Durham deserves the highest quality.

I appreciate and agree with the sentiment; but it is hard to put quality out and compete with "free." On the other hand, I don't knock a man for his choice of style (unless each letter is a different color and some are flashing). Happily that is not an optimum choice for print.

It does 'cut and paste' easily to a Word doc, however. This makes it a much cleaner conversion to a Kindle than archive or google books.

Surely those who have seen your Durham volumes, especially if they have compared them to other printings, will realize that there are no substitutes.
