In Christmas '08 I purchased a NXT Generation Crossbow for my kids.
It is great fun! It shoots foam darts... but it does so with surprisingly high velocity and accuracy.
Anyway, after two years of being used constantly by 4 kids and 2 adults, ours has broke. So we're replacing it. But I wanted to pass this on - it is really well made and is very accurate and while it doesn't "hurt" when you get shot, it has enough stank on it that you certainly know you've been hit.
