The book is entitled, "Ancient-Future Faith" by Robert Webber. Has anyone heard about it? It came out I think in 1999. A friend of mine who is working on his doctoral dissertatoion in minsitry asked me to review the book.
The thesis seems to be that in a postmodernworld, the method of reaching the culture is to reclaim the ancient faith that we find in the first six centuries of the Church focusing on the catholic creeds of the Church. I use the word catholic simply to mean universal. He's trying to find common ground that Christian can affirm, no matter what their traditions.
I was just hpoing someone may know a little bit about the author. Thanks,
Bobby
