Yesterday I started a thread that was locked very quickly, and rightly so. Intended as humor, it was inappropriate. I'd like to apologize.

Apology accepted, however I would also point out that often a little humor is needed on this board.

Agreed, though, like blhowes said, it didn't turn out to be funny. I actually was going to post a response but before I finished typing, it was closed! And I was going to use the phrase "lady haired Puritan" too (one of Marrow Man's best one-liners!)

I'd have gotten it posted if I hadn't taken the time to be more delicate than my usual blunt approach.

And I agree. Not funny. I didn't see any attempt at humor there.
