Hi everyone. Today I went to a Bible Museum.
Only found out about it recently. It's in a small country town in Victoria Australia called St Arnaud.
What an amazing experience it was. There were Bibles that were hundreds of years old from every language you could imagine. Even an "Eskimo" bible!
Along with the hundreds of Bibles were also actual artifacts from Israel dated up to 3000 yrs old! There were scale models of the city of old Jerusalem, the Ark of the covenant, actual animal skin writings of the Torah, coins you name it. There was also a section celebrating M Luther and the reformers!
It was amazing to have the guide show us and read the various versions of the Psalms in Metre and see and hear the different versions or word changes that took place over time.
I took many pictures but for some reason some didnt make it to my memory card. I may have hit delete when I didnt mean to. But all in all what a great find it was to make in such an out of the way country place! And what a collection. Even had a Mathew Henry Bible set.
