How does one get rid of a corrupted file, or in this case a few,on a USB drive? I have tried everything it seems.

Probably the easiest thing would be to back up whatever files are good and then just reformat the flash drive.
But if it's old, it might be bad itself and no amount of formatting would help.

Yeah unless it's a really valuable flash drive, I would just get a new one. I would have a hard time trusting that one

Once data gets corrupted there's not much you can do. If there is anything you can save then save it. I actually have 2 memory sticks and back up important stuff on both as they are prone to get corrupted. However now that things are kept in clouds this is another worthwhile option to save photos, documents and whatever else is important.
