Edwards Biography

Can someone recommend a biography of Jonathan Edwards that's around a ninth-grade reading level?
I know that's subjective, but I want to find a biography to teach ESL to foreign students.

Christian Timothy George, Jonathan Edwards, Trail Blazers (Scotland, England: Christian Focus Publishings, 2008.

I've found this to be an easy read. It is mainly for youth anyway.

"Marriage to a difficult man" is wonderful, and gives a sense of the man...experientially...is wonderful. Hard to find though.

Althought written for adults, Marsden's "Johathan Edawards: A life" is excellent. Very good coverage of the Great Awakening and Edwards part in it. The section on Whitefield's first missionary journey to American and the effect it had on the established religious institutions (Churches, College/Seminaries, etc.) is very interesting and enlightening.

I second this, but will add that Marsden wrote a shortened version that is at a lower reading level. That might be better for your purposes - although it might still be a little bit hard for ESL students. (Its really good though and great to give someone who is interested in Edwards but doesn't want to put the time in to read a longer volume)
