ESV Commentaries

I'm sure there are several commentaries that use the ESV. With regard to large sets, I don't know, but I'm not too familiar with the latest when it comes to that kind of thing. But I'd think those are, of necessity, planned many years in advance. Remember that the ESV was only released in 2001 and it was probably a couple of years later that it began to gain widespread acceptance beyond the early big name promoters, most of whom were involved in its production to begin with. The earliest volumes of the the NAC were released in the early 1990's and planning (including getting the license for the NIV) perhaps started a few years before that. I'm not sure if it's even finished yet. If it is, it's only just been completed. Patterson's Revelation commentary was issued earlier this year.
