I saw this on a poster in a store that has now, sadly, gone out of business. The poster said something like this:
FROM THE MANAGEMENT
It has recently come to our attention that people are dying at work. This must stop at once as it has become impossible to tell people who are dead from people who are actually working. Anyone planning on dying at work must first get a note for their doctor stating the day and time when they plan to die, and when also when they plan to make up the work.
