While searching on the web for building plans for a small green house, I found a website called Instructables and am enjoying looking through all of the clever project ideas people submit. Does anyone have any suggestions for other good websites to check out for DIY home projects?

I bet you don't mean that kind of home project, though. Natural Handyman is an interesting and helpful site, and their list of articles is huge.

Lowe's also has a "How To Library" with a wide range of fun looking stuff.
