I told the author, in the comments, that systematic theologies usually have well-done eschatology sections, but none that I know of has a separate section on a "theology of death and dying."

You know, Don Green at Truth Community Church just preached a wonderful sermon on death, entitled Your Final Act of Worship. This reminded me of it, but with different viewpoint, and is worth a listen.
