Mean Old Man

Greetings everyone. I am new to this forum and this is my first post, so forgive me if this issue has been discussed here before.
According to Genesis 1:31, "œGod saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." I take this to mean all of God´s creation was exceedingly good (including man). This being the case, I have, for a while, wondered how Adam sinned. How did that, which is good, do evil? Any thoughts?
