How do you work blogger?

I have a blogger account (somewhere, forgot what it was and how to find it) but I don't understand the difference between the three names and IDs they ask. Any help?

What do you mean? I'm only aware of needing your username and password.

I had a blogger, but I think I forgot both name and password and then one day I have the handle "Calvinsculture." I forgot where it came from. I am confused. And then the gooogle merger...didn't see that one coming. xanga is so much easier.

Blogger switched from the old version to Beta, and then made Beta the default. You might try finding a log-in page for "Old Blogger".

At some point, they forced all old accounts to become the Beta version. You might try using the email address on account rather than your user name.

And, if you have signed up for a gmail account, use that email address instead, and password to log in.

The transition gave me fits a few months ago.

Vic is right. Blogger merged so you know have ONE Google account. It used to be that you'd have a blogger username/password and a Blogger username/password. Now when you log in you have one Google password for:

GMail
Blogger
Calendar
and others.

It's actually much easier to manage. The new interface has many more features than the old blogger including the ability to modify your template without having to know HTML and the ability to associate a domain name to your blogger (like solideogloria.com!) by simply adding a cName record.
