Mason, thank you: that's reassuring. My fever is higher today, but I'm not really in pain (dizziness and nausea are normal for me --one of the confusing factors). The doctor who finally decided to treat it as an allergic reaction said it's the weirdest thing he's seen as an allergic reaction-- it looks exactly like lymphangitis & doesn't itch, but burn. They thought maybe it was too early to tell; I'm hoping my mom's stuff will work whatever it may be. If I go back with it they'll hospitalize and give antibiotics intravenously --the endo and dyt react very badly to drugs in the past & I am sure God is working out even what they diagnose and how that affects treatment --and how treatment affects other things. I'm not worried about it, having been assured that I'm not irresponsible to continue as normal for now, and knowing that people have been praying. I am sure God hears and answers/has been answering those prayers. Thanks again everyone for prayers and for helping me out with knowing what to do.
Brad, actually Ruben and I rather enjoyed the evening in the emergency room --mostly because of the people. We like that kind of people (we meet them here at the mission, and we knew more people like that in Mexico); and they were most of them genial and easygoing in that environment. We just found it very funny that those unkempt, unrefined, violent looking men were bored and depressed by TV violence and unanimously gravitated to reality programs about fine food.
