I think that the publication of Kuyper's Public Theology is fascinating and timely. I don't agree, of course, with all his particulars but find it (including the Pro Rege vols) endlessly captivating, without any equal of which I am aware (i.e., an extended Calvinistic engagement of these questions in the modern era). His volume on the church, e.g., argues for something like a proper spirituality of the church and not the kind of political captivity (from either end of the spectrum) from which the church often suffers these days. I would commend it especially to my brethren in the PCA as they deal with many issues of public theology.
Peace,
Alan
