I just discovered Keith Green when someone on the PB posted some of his music. He really has a great stage presence and a strong voice.

Keith Green is my favorite Arminian. He was leaps beyond so many of us. He was a great Christian and performer. I want to thank ServantofGod for starting this thread.

Keith was a major influence on me from 5-15 years ago! I just lacked the maturity to see through his Arminianism to the Calvinistic way of "interpreting through" what he was saying. Even he didn't and couldn't understand it through such eyes, in my opinion. He was not healthy for me very much back then. But, now, I tend to hear his songs through different filters. Funny how time and spiritual growth does such...

I read this years ago in a book (I can't find) and checked out what Wikipedia.com had to say about it. Seems Keith turned over a new leaf to some extent at least.

Keith Green's initial tone of ministry was largely influenced by Leonard Ravenhill, who pointed Keith to Charles Finney, a nineteenth century revivalist preacher who preached the law of God to provoke conviction in his hearers. During his concerts he would often angrily exhort his listeners to repent, and commit themselves more wholly to following Christ. Green later repented from this kind of approach, and this transition is evident in his music beginning with Songs for the Shepherd in 1982, an album more focused on the love, mercy and grace of God than the wrath of His displeasure.
